Armetale type vintage butter dish, plate w/ cover in polished aluminum or pewter

Vintage covered butter dish in nice clean condition, probably never used. This looks like a Armetale with a polished finish - the mark on the bottom of the plate is illegible and I just can't read it, sorry!
