China plate with colonial couple scene, marked in gold Busy Bee Confectionary, Mayville Wisconsin (Mayles and Van Beek, proprietors). This is such a sweet piece, I don't think I've ever found old advertising from a candy store before! Measures about 6" in diameter, has crazing but no chips or cracks.
