Chinese dragon silky embroidery on black poly fabric panel, machine embroidered flag banner fabric

Vintage silky poly fabric panel with machine embroidered dragon along one side of the length. There's a few clouds embroidered around on this piece of fabric, but most of the embroidery is just down one side.

This measures 44" wide across the full width (across the selvages) of the fabric. It's 2 yards long, with the dragon mostly on 1 yard of the length.

This doesn't look as though it's ever been used (it's nice and clean without fading, edges have never been hemmed). Maybe it's meant as fabric for a banner, screen or wall hanging. Or maybe for garment material - this could be used for a fabulous coat or robe!
