Edwardian vintage ladies purse, antique tatted lace hand bag, handmade lace tatting

Handmade tatted lace bag, 6" wide x 9" long with a tatted lace edging below that. We're guessing that this is early 1900s, but it might be earlier... the condition is unexpectedly good for a Victorian piece.

This doesn't look as though it was ever lined, maybe it was something like a wedding purse, not really for practical everyday use.

It's a deep ecru colored cotton, probably tea or coffee dyed. It's in very good condition overall.
