English make old solid nickel horse tack riding stirrups, 19th or 20th century vintage

Pair of solid nickel riding stirrups, marked Solid Nickel and 'English make' on the bottom side of the foot. We didn't see any marks like Hermes, though it's hard to see the marks of these.

We're not sure how old these are, probably some time 20th century?

These measure 5 1/2" tall x 5 1/4" wide. They've been used, and do show some wear and soil. We've left them just as we found them, and haven't polished them.
