Fagus wood shoe stretcher, small last vintage carved wood foot form w/ steel sole primitive decor

Vintage shoe last marked for the Fagus factory, wood with steel sole plate. This is a beautiful early industrial piece!

It's marked size 5 1/2 E (I'm not sure what that would be in modern sizing, or American sizing for that matter). It's a bit over 10" long, and does not look particularly wide to me? See photos.
