Florentine style shabby vintage tray w/ flowers, made in Japan papier mache or composition

Beautifully shabby worn vintage tray in the Florentine style, but made of papier mache or some type of composition material rather than wood. It's 1950s vintage, made in Japan.

This measures about 15 1/2" x 13 1/2" overall, and is noticeably used with some chipping and wear. Still very pretty, for use or display!
