Geisha girl china, vintage hand-painted Japan porcelain berry bowls fruit bowl set

Vintage hand-painted Japan china set of bowls in the Geisha girl pattern edged in red. There's one 8 3/4" diameter bowl and four of the 4 3/4" diameter individual bowls.

These do have some chips and hairlines as is so often found on this pattern. Geisha girl china was cheaply made although very elaborately painted, and much of it was flawed even when originally sold. Pieces were easily damaged by any use at all, and after about 75 years almost all of it shows a little wear and tear.
