Gilner California pottery mid century vintage ceramic arts figurines happy cannibals Hawaiiana

Pair of 'happy cannibals' figurines, mid century vintage Gilner studio pottery made in California. These are about 4 3/4" tall.

I'm not sure if the 'flowers' are original, but it's likely that they are - they show some age. The figurines themselves have a few issues - she has a chip to her toe, and both of his feet (ankles) have been broken and neatly repaired.
