Japanese usubata flower holder, antique vintage bronze vase w/ wave design

Early 1900s - 1920s vintage usubata, not marked or signed that we could find. This has a traditional wave design with a basketweave pattern. We've never seen one of these patterned like this before.

It's cast brass or bronze, with applied red finish all original to the piece. There's a small metal pin type flower frog which fits perfectly inside.

This measures 7" in diameter across the bowl, stands 5 1/2" tall. It's very heavy.
