1800s aesthetic period silver plated tea pot in a Japanese inspired style, beautifully detailed, with flowers, foliage, birds and insects - even a 'woven rattan' patterned handle. It's been engraved with an E monogram at the rim. Silver marks are Rogers - Smith, Meriden Connecticut Quadruple Plate, and I believe some design numbers.

The is pretty clean inside and out, tarnished but no terribly obvious wear to the silver. No dents or holes, and the pattern is clearly visible, not rubbed or worn away. Pot measures about 8 1/4" long overall, about 6 1/4" tall.
