Large round primitive antique cast iron trivet 1911 patent

Large primitive three footed cast iron hot plate trivet from an old farm estate. This measures about 8 3/4" across the bottom, 7 7/8" across the top and about 7/8" high over the feet. This is marked on the underside with a patent date of "June 27, 1911". It has a patina of age and surface rust.
