Limoges style porcelain boxes, large eggs plain white china to paint or decorate

Set of four large egg shaped porcelain boxes with gold tone metal hinge - Limoges style, made in China. New old stock, about 15-20 years old.

These are glazed inside and out, with hinge piece separate from the top and bottom pieces of each egg, to DIY decorate for Easter eggs, or to create your own Faberge style masterpieces!

These are about the size of small goose eggs, 3 1/2" tall overall. That's a real chicken egg (size large) in the photo next to them, to give you a feel as to their scale.
