MCM set for 8 vintage stainless black melamine flatware, Contessa ebonyte Japan

Beautiful unused set for eight of mid-century modern stainless steel flatware with black melamine handles, 1950s or 60s.

We were told this pattern is 'Contessa', with the ebonyte (melamine plastic) handle details. This is made in Japan, nicely polished and heavy.

This is a complete silverware service for eight, eight each of dinner forks and salad forks, knives, soup spoons. Sixteen teaspoons, and a few serving pieces as shown. It's all in excellent condition.
