MCM vintage USA pottery ball pitcher, jade green blue glaze, art deco design tilt jug
more photos of this product belowVintage USA pottery ball pitcher with a very art deco style, skyscraper lines around the bottom. No makers marks - I've never found out who the maker is - but I love the shape and the jade color!
This is a rare one, I've only ever found a few of these over they years. Color looks like Hall, or maybe early California pottery. I'd guess the vintage is nearer 1930s than 1950s.
The pitcher is about 6 1/2" tall overall, in good clean condition. There's a very fine line at the handle - feels completely solid, barely a hairline.
There's discoloration / soil at the foot, though there's no other browning inside or out. It's a nice heavy piece and would work well with a whole big bouquet of real flowers!
