old 1927 first Mary Dunbar's cookbook, Jewel Tea Co 1st edition

Vintage 1927 first edition of "Mary Dunbar's Cook Book - prepared by The Home Service Division - Jewel Tea Co - New York - Chicago" This early cook book has about 63 pages full of recipes, laundry, baby care and beauty tips and more. Mary Dunbar was the director of the Jewel Homemakers' Institute in charge of testing all of Jewel's products for quality prior to offering them to the public, similar to the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval".

This early cookbook has some marks by some of the recipes (mostly check marks in pencil) and "Mother" on the front cover. There is wear to the spine.
