Oneida silver plate mini shakers S&P sets, 20th century vintage traditional colonial style

'New' in box Oneida silver plated salt and pepper shakers, four little shakers in this set. Never used, though the original box is very worn and mildew spotted.

I love the shape (like tiny sugar shakers!) and the shine, but these are really not very well finished inside. Roughly made, I guess maybe they never expect anyone to use them, or maybe not care if they're putting food products inside on such poorly finished casting?

I believe these are later 20th century Oneida, after they started outsourcing overseas. Really Oneida, I was very surprised to open these and see that you'd put your name on a rather misleading product like this.

I took a photo through my magnifying light to try to show this to you, they're too dark for me to get a decent photo of the bottom, though the bottom of the interiors are rough, too. I don't want you to be surprised here like I was!

They're very heavy, and very pretty - high shine and a lovely silver finish on the exteriors. These measure 2 3/4" tall.
