Victorian antique Adirondack style whatnot shelf, handmade dark wood lattice wall hanging shelf

Late 1800s vintage whatnot shelf, handmade of thin pieces of lightweight wood pegged together to form a lattice backdrop behind a small shelf. This measures about 23" tall x 12 1/2" wide.

It's a cabin craft or tramp art piece in an Adirondack style, not perfectly made as the shelf sits tilted upwards a bit. I was afraid to put much weight on the shelf without hanging it up properly for fear it would dump the contents (pitcher is not included). I would expect that the shelf sits straighter and looks neater when it has a little weight on it!
