Victorian antique turquoise blue opaline glass vase, hand blown glass w/ painted scene

Turn of the century (late 1800s or very early 1900s) vintage turquoise blue opaline glass vase with hand painted scene, gold painted trim.

The mountain seascape looks Japanese to me - though I was told this is French or Bohemian art glass. It's not signed, has no marks besides the pontil on the bottom. Vase measures about 9 1/2" tall.

The glass looks very good, no chips or roughness although the paint has some wear. The glass has the opal 'fire' glow when held to the light, like old Bristol glass. I had a hard time trying to photograph the glow for you, please see pics.
