Victorian style Christmas wood blocks alphabet block puzzle in wooden box, 1980s 90s vintage

1980s or 90s vintage wood block puzzle in wood box, made in Taiwan, in an old fashioned antique style.

This is much harder than it looks, I fiddled with it for a good while (though I tried not to look at the box cover with the complete illustration as I pride myself on being good at puzzles!). And then I gave up, it's actually a real puzzle.

Blocks have alphabet letters as well, but I left those alone as I'd be spelling out stuff all day since I really like spelling games, too. :)
