moon & stars amberina red-orange glass canister, good jar, bad lid

The jar looks very nice on this vintage moon & star pattern canister, but the lid looks very bad, with very large, serious chips.

It's a wonderful piece to replace a broken or damaged jar, and we thought we'd include the lid for you as well, in case yours looks even worse than this one! (If you don't want the lid, and don't want to be handling chipped glass, just let us know, and we won't ship it. We'll recycle it on this end for you.)

The jar is the amberina color, we think. It's not distinctly shaded, but looks red in some lights, and orange in others. It measures 9 1/4" tall with the lid in place, and has only very slight edge roughness to the stopper opening and rim.
