antique Bosch Type ZEV magneto, vintage motorcycle parts Harley Davidson?

Authentic vintage Bosch Type ZEV magneto with the Bosch logos and 1905 and 1908 patent dates. This is a 42 degree magneto of the type used on antique motorcycles like Indian or Harley Davidson motorcycles. It’s out of an estate in the Fox Cities of Wisconsin north-west of Milwaukee, home of Harley Davidson.

This is numbered 278759 and is marked BOSCH type ZEV – New York. I don’t know a lot about this (or antique engines or motorcycles generally) and am selling this for restoration, repair, or parts. There is also an extra small gear that is wired to the magneto. It looks like another of the gear that is on the end of the magneto shaft.

This has some grease and soil (that’s good as it protects it from the elements, right?), looks good and turns over. This is untested, but I think I might have just zapped myself turning it over just now (LOL).
