antique German art pottery pitcher hand painted stylized floral, vintage 1900

Circa 1900 Rhein pottery pitcher with striking blue / red / gold design, hand painted. The colors here are not something I see much in German ceramics - when I first picked this up, I thought it might be Dutch, or possibly French.

It's probably made for wine, sized like a milk jug at about 7" tall overall. There's some staining or soil to the interior, and a few tiny glaze chips. Condition is good overall, no cracks or serious chips.
