antique H L Mussmann carpenter's hatchet, roofer's shingle splitting hatchet nail pulling tool

Beautifully made turn of the century vintage carpenter's hatchet, marked H (L?) Mussmann. Probably German made carbon steel blade, produced for the American market. Original old wood handle, blade well cared for. This is a good old piece.
