antique Jean Pouyat Limoges china soup cups or custard bowls w/ saucers, vintage 1908

Lovely set of twelve flat cups and saucers, custards or soup cups without handles. The bowls are 4" across the rims.

We're not sure of the proper name for the shape of these dishes, though we can easily think of a million uses for everything from appetizers to elegant desserts.

These are marked JP - L (Jean Pouyat, Limoges France), patent dated 1908. They're hand painted porcelain, beautifully detailed, and in very nice condition, barely if ever used.

One cup and one saucer each have hairline cracks - we're including them for you anyway, so as not to split up a set of a full dozen, over a hundred years old.
