antique art nouveau early electric vintage lighting, ornate wall sconce light

Lovely old art nouveau cast iron electric wall sconce with ornate floral pattern and the original colored paint. It measures about 9 1/4" high, and is complete with the orginal face plate for electrical outlet, and the switch knob which is so often missing.

The painted decoration has some wear, and there's some rust from the metal showing through. We didn't see a maker's mark on this one, though it's marked Patent Applied For.
