Very old unmarked mixing bowls, shabby and worn, right out of farm kitchen where they've been in use off and on for over 100 years!

The larger bowl (8" in diameter x 3 1/2" deep) has traces of gold trim remaining - the smaller bowl (6" in diameter x 2 1/2" deep) doesn't look as though it's ever had any gold.

Both are browned, spotted and scratched, with chips on both. These have an unusual feel and weight, and we're not sure if they're a pottery or a china material. We took a lot of photos here which will hopefully be of some help.
