antique brass candlesticks marked Solid English, Victorian vintage candle holders

Pair of 19th century cast brass candle sticks, marked Solid English. We'd guess the age at 1870s, they are undoubtedly Victorian in any case. They stand about 10 1/2" tall overall.

These are lovely, with a pale (not 'brassy' color) and rubbed patina. But they aren't perfectly solid - there's a couple of flaws and pinholes to the casting, original to manufacture.
