antique carriage lights, early automobile lamps converted to 1930s vintage porch lighting

Pair of antique driving lamps with beveled glass lanterns. These were from an early automobile or a horse drawn carriage or coach.

These lanterns were likely kerosene or carbide gas originally (perhaps even candles), but they were repurposed as electric lights long ago.

They are very heavy and measure about 10 1/2" high overall. They need work to the sockets and wiring to get them working as electric lights. Well worth restoration.
