antique cast iron and brass door stop latch hardware w/1900 patent

Large antique cast iron and brass foot operated door stop latch. It is marked with a patent date of Oct 23 1900 (we think). This bolt measures about 8 3/4" long (or high) and about 2 1/4" across the mounting ears. The brass end of the bold is about 7/8" across and has a threaded socket that is about 3/4" across (and is slightly out of round). This latch has a patina of age and worn old paint.
