antique cast metal 'bronze' figural pincushion w/ tree stump & rabbits

Early to mid century vintage Japan made cast spelter 'bronze' sewing pin cushion with rabbits in the woods, a tree stump holding the pincushion. It measures 2 1/2" tall.

The original finish is worn, and the velvet cushion is faded from age. There's a few little stress cracks at the bottom, visible only when this is picked up and turned over. This is such a sweet old piece!
