antique china sea shell oyster dishes, set of six bowls, soup, salad or dessert dishes

Antique luster china seashell shaped bowls, set of six. These were probably intended for soup, or a seafood course - or maybe even as dessert dishes in a over-the-top Victorian style!

I think they'd be lovely to hold jewelry or cosmetics, or just as decorative pieces with majolica pottery or a coastal, beach style. Size is about 5 1/2" x 4" overall.

They're unmarked, probably Germany or Austria I think. Vintage is late 1800s or very early 1900s.

All six bowls are in very good condition - there's a few irregularities or makers flaws like dark spots under the glaze, but no chips or damage from use.
