primitive antique crock jars, old stoneware pottery crockery canisters
more photos of this product belowTwo nice old crock jars, early 1900s vintage (the larger of these is marked with a patent date of April 16, 1901). Both of these are in good shape, roughly made with many maker's flaws, but without chips or cracks. Neither has a closure, though the larger jar at least was intended to have a wire bail on the lid.
The big two-color jar measures 8" tall, about 5" in diameter. The smaller jar measures 6" tall x about 4" in diameter. There are no maker's marks on either.
