antique dress trim, Victorian vintage jet black glass beaded embroidery appliques

Beautiful antique dress or mourning dress trimmings, passementerie type braid applique made of gimp cord thread and jet black glass beads or seed beads. This is Victorian or Edwardian vintage, circa 1900.

Most motifs measure about 3" to 5" long. The long braid edgings are 1 yard or less.

These were carefully saved, and look good without a lot of wear or damage, though there are some frayed edges or broken and cut threads. They'll need a little work to reuse, though they seem sturdy without fading or brittleness.
