antique gilt gold buckle, repousse metal filgree dress belt or hat ornament

Turn of the century vintage ornate buckle with gilt or gilt colored finish over a tin colored base metal. This is very pretty, but light in weight - made for ornamental purposes rather than function! It's in very nice condition, I don't believe it's ever been used.
