antique glass spice jar w/ metal shaker lid, vintage hoosier canister sun purple glass

Early 1900s vintage glass spice jar with aluminum shaker lid, sun purple colored manganese glass. (Originally clear glass, the lavender color is from years of exposure to sunlight.)

This has a paneled shape with an oval area for a label, a classic style popular for hoosier cabinet jars. Measures about 2 1/2" diameter x 5 1/2" tall.

The metal lid shows some wear though is very usable yet. Glass jar has no cracks or chips but does have some light clouding or mineral deposits.
