antique gold Federal eagle crown ornament, Victorian vintage architectural gesso wood mirror frame

Beautiful ornate gesso / wood frame ornament, turn of the century vintage or maybe a little earlier (possibly 1870s American Centennial?). This is is good solid condition with very little chipping, very usable yet. Or just prop it up anywhere as an architectural fragment for display. Lovely gilt color and tons of character to this piece.
