antique hand painted Nippon porcelain bowl w/ encrusted gold, footed dish for fruit or flowers

Early 1900s vintage Hand Painted Nippon china bowl, 8 1/2" in diameter. This was probably intended to hold fruit or flowers for a centerpiece originally, though it seems a shame to cover up the beautifully detailed design.

It's in very nice condition without damage, very little rubbing or wear to the paint or the gold. It'll make a lovely cachepot to hold jewelry or other small objects on a desk, table or vanity.
