antique harvest table cover shawl, rich red & gold cotton brocade tablecloth w/ heavy tassels fringe

Antique vintage tablecloth, woven cotton with a heavy cotton fringe. This is lovely!

It's a coverlet weight, not light like a piano shawl, more like a table rug. The cotton is lusterous and unfaded, in rich jewel tone colors. There's no labels or weaver marks that we could find.

Size is about 48" square not including the tasseled fringe. Condition is very good, we saw a few spots and pulled threads, but no holes. There's very little wear to the fabric or the fringe.

This came out of an Iowa farm estate near the Mississippi, we know this has been in one family from more than 80 years, but aside from that we don't know very much about it.
