two old antique iron balls, round weights or cannonballs

Very old cannon ball and old round weight, both heavy cast iron. The larger ball measures about 3 1/4" in diameter, has the remains of a hook or loop as shown in the photo. The smaller one has no signs of any markings or hook, and measures about 2 1/2" in diameter.
