antique vintage oval frames, ornate gesso on wood, gold & old white paint

Shabby but pretty, two very old oval wood frames with ornate applied gesso decoration. These have no glass, but would look lovely with a convex bubble glass, or with a flat mirror, or just hung on the wall are they are!

The gold or gilt finish frame measures 12 1/2" long, and 8 1/2" x 6 1/2" over the open area where the glass or picture would fit. The frame with the old white paint measures 24 1/2" long, 18 3/4" x 12 3/4" over the open area.
