antique redwork embroidery, white cotton pillow covers w/ tuck pleats

Pair of lovely antique red work embroidered pillow covers with pin tucked ruffled edges, both in excellent never used condition, nice and bright.

We love the adirondack style stick frames worked in red cotton thread, very period to these pillow covers (vintage 1910 or thereabouts).

These are one sided, made to lay over a pillow, rather than enclose it in a pillow case. Size is about 30" square overall.
