antique silver shaker set w/ glass jars, salt & pepper shakers dated Oct 31 1893

Antique 19th century vintage silver and glass shaker set, just 2 1/4" tall.

The metal is spotted with plate damage and corrosion, and the glass jars are rough with fleabite chips.

But the October 31st 1893 date is clearly visible on the one shaker, there's just something wonderfully gothic about these.

They'd make perfect hat pin holders, or to hold tiny fragile flowers. What lovely pieces for altered art or jewelry!
