Late Victorian or early Edwardian period opal glass biscuit jar, no lid. We were told this was Bristol glass, but there's no makers marks or hallmarks here that I could see. The metal band and handle show age and tarnishing, the glass itself looks lovely, no damage, no wear to the design. Measures about 5 1/4" overall diameter x 5 1/2" tall.
