antique vintage French alencon lace tablecloth, white cotton lace 102 x 60 oval tablecloth

Beautiful old French alencon lace tablecloth, an oval about 102" x 60". This came out of the estate of a collector of vintage and antique linens, and she left a note with this that it was alencon lace, made in France.

This has noticeable spots (I've shown these in the photos) which I have not attempted to remove. I'm a little afraid of antique lace, it's so beautiful and fragile looking that I feel nervous trying to wash it!

Aside from that, there are very few holes, really very nice for a used vintage tablecloth of this age. With a little TLC this will be a fabulous heirloom quality lace.
