antique & vintage mourning dress sewing trims lot, silk sash ribbon, lace flounce, heavy veil

Lot of very old mourning dress trimmings, all black - ribbons, braid and laces, a heavy veil fabric dated 1928, arm bands etc.. Most of these have been used, or are remnants left from trimmings gowns or hats and bonnets.

It's a wonderful collection of notions all from a farm estate, untouched for nearly 100 years. The styles in rural areas were often quite noticeably fashion backwards, so although most of this is probably around WWI and between the wars vintage, much of it looks much older, decidedly Victorian!
