antique vintage rose red William Morris style floral wool carpet stair rug remnant

We love this beautiful old wool carpet, the colors are lovely and rich, very Victorian / Edwardian period.

It's very clean without visible condition issues (there's some brown water spots visible to the reverse, not showing to the top of the carpet).

Size is 26" wide x 68" long, both ends are unfinished. It's fairly 'soft', wool pile is fine and short. It's flexible enough to use as upholstery for a bench or stool, or use as a rug or stair rug.
