antique vintage round wood flue cover pictures, silhouette scenes w/ shabby worn paint

Pair of old painted silhouette pictures painted on wood rounds about 5 3/4" in diameter.

We were told these were flue covers - though they have no hangers, or holes where they would have been nailed in place.

We love the old fashioned scenes, and the shabby vintage paint! So pretty.
