Antique detachable carrier for carpetbag, document case, or traveling rug, with leather grip and straps. It's about 14 1/2" long with the loops buckled to their largest, but of course that shortens according to the width / fullness of the object carried.

The leather has some wear, age, and cracking - it looks pretty good overall for a piece of about 100 years old, but we wouldn't suggest it for heavy hauling or daily use. It makes a great prop or display piece - the blanket shown in the photo is not included.
