antique white ironstone china bowl, eggplant shaped dish w/ embossed ribbon

Eggplant shaped ironstone china bowl with embossed 'ribbon' (like a heraldic emblem, or Order of the Garter?) Dish measures 9 1/2" long end to end.

It's late 1800s or very early 1900s vintage, marked Mellor, Taylor Co Warranted Ironstone. This is showing it's age with a little spotting and light scratching / utensil marks.
